We had a young lady First Officer on the Haj from Java to Jeddah . To avoid hassle from the Saudis on arrival, we gave her a set of six bar epaulettes and walked three paces behind her. Did the trick. |

Those woolly-pullies looked unnatural, even 40 years ago, like something you'd see on an Action Man doll. I think a lower rounded neck would have been better and as for the 'skinny tyre' that appeared around the waist unless the pullover was tugged down ....
