DH 112 Venom
Hello again there fellow PPruners. Six months or so ago I made a request for help sourcing de Havilland Vampire stories, and it proved such a success that - with your help - "Vampire Boys" will be launched later this year.
But my obsession with twin-boomed de Havilland masterpieces does not end there, and I'm now embarking on a similar research project regarding the Venom. Whether you flew it, worked on it or have some other story to tell about the aircraft, please do get in touch - I'd love to hear more. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....3d4369de86.png Image courtesy of Mike Gallafent, 16 Sqn, RAF Celle. |

Spaz,
I have been in touch with her to send my Australian Aviation article on N4 from 1995. A good contact for her would be Steve Long at Camden Museum, but I don't have his email. cheers, BB |
LONG ago (geddit?) I used to correspond via e-mail with Steve then in a 'plastic model' forum which is now defunct; however now his e-mail addy escapes me. Meanwhile I'll search for OzAv artickle '95 and...

Wheels in motion here for locating "GHOST [engine] RIDERS" e-mail. I'm caught out updating some 400 pages of our FAW 53 Sea Venom material. I'll get there soonlike. I'll look for your article also.
