Commando Style
Adds a whole new meaning to the phrase coming out if the cupboard....
https://metro.co.uk/2021/01/22/navy-...robe-13948716/ Half-naked woman found hiding in airman’s wardrobe after reports of smell coming from his room An investigation is underway after an aircraft technician’s lover was found in his wardrobe, having been hiding at a Navy base for two weeks. Officers forced their way in to the room after receiving complaints about a smell and found the woman hiding semi-naked among the airman’s jumpsuits. The member of the elite Commando Helicopter Force tried to keep his guest hidden by putting a sign outside his door saying: ‘Do not enter, own cleaning taken care of’. He told his superiors she was his girlfriend and not a spy. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) have since said there is no suspicion of espionage but are still investigating how she was smuggled into RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset. It is thought the technician sneaked her into the base in the boot of his car when he returned after his Christmas break. The woman, a Dutch-national who was born in Indonesia, was escorted from the base by armed police and was said to have left the UK immediately. A Royal Navy source told the Sun the woman was an ‘unauthorised foreign national on Ministry of Defence property’ and called the incident ‘an astonishing breach’ of security. The airman, who is said to serve the 847 Naval Air Squadron, told bosses he first met his girlfriend on holiday in 2019. Discussions over how he should be punished are still ongoing while the MoD investigates. A spokesperson said: “The Royal Navy takes any breach of security or Covid guidelines extremely seriously. We are investigating the incident but the individual is a European national and there is no suspicion of espionage.” |
What’s in your wardrobe.
The amazing bit is she was discovered after complaints about the smell.
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-new...-navy-23364352 something appears fishy to me about it all :E |
"Discussions over how he should be punished are still ongoing while the MoD investigates."
Marriage. Punishment enough for any man... |
That “smell” part just put me off my Alpen.
|
"..... Own cleaning taken care of".
Things appear to have moved on since my time in (RAF) barracks. Does the Military Covenant now also extend to a turn-down service? |
Unless his room had an en-suite I'd imagine it was a bit fruity if she'd been locked in there since Christmas.

He should have told them he found her there when he moved in and blamed it on the last occupant.
we had one at Odi in the 70’s that “worked” her way around the block, she was sex mad and would flit from one guy to another....... ahem......apparently ;) it eventually ended up in court and the RAF had to put on a minibus for the ermmmmm witnesses |
Was at Marham in the late 70's in the transit block. Sunday morning in the ablutions and a Mum and daughter [both over the age of consent ] were at the sinks with wash-bags. Apparently they often stayed the weekends with respective partners. So this is nothing new
|
When I left the navy in 1971 a colleague went back to the base in rosyth a few months later to visit his old mates and stayed in the accommodation with them rather than booking a hotel. Wasn’t anything romantic before anyone thinks that.
|
I certainly used to smuggle my girlfriend into my room. She always insisted on climbing in through the window because, having grown up next to the base, she didn't want to be seen and labelled as one of "those girls".
|
I plead the 5th Amendment.
But it was a long time ago anyway. |
I went up to Jever post detachment and stayed in the USAF women’s accommodation... like you do.
A guy at Bruggen got done for having a legal WO’s daughter in his room, the fine he got he reckoned was still cheaper than what it would have cost him if he was paying for it. I always thought the rule of having no females in the block was pathetic and so behind the times, and that was in the 80’s. Mind you I did once get told to keep the noise down and that was in a 12 man transit room, some people had no standards interrupting us... :p |

Didn't know Navy types were into girls? Is that why he smuggled her in?
|
Wardrobe, the new Navy barrel for the 21st Century.
She was probably cooking meals in the room. |
