Shinwayma US-2 clone?
|
Although there are obvious similarities - the roles are pretty much identical - I don't think it is a clone; much larger, for a start.
Grateful for the nudge, as it spurred me to take a look at some of the other, non-pointy Chinese aviation developments on open-source sites. It led me to, among other things, take a look at the airfield at Yanliang on G00gle Earth. Fascinating object north of the thresholds for the 24 runways - some twin-jet airliner (C919?) flying test-bed with a curious swept-canard device atop the stretched fuselage just aft of the cockpit and a sharp fast-jet type nose. I shall enjoy wandering through t'interweb gleaning whatever info is out there. |
