Do you have a link.

tcasblue 25th Jan 2020 04:46

I pasted an Instagram link. It is not displaying. When I select the edit function, the link is displayed to me. Once I select SAVE, it no longer shows up on the thread.

Anyone know why?

Apart from being a demonstration of childish stupidity, the purpose was ...?
Anyone remember the Argosy at El Adem? ... among others!

A man's got to know his limitations. Dirty Harry.

The one that impressed me was the 757, not the pass as such but the departure, you just have got to love those RR powered versions

Got to be honest Jack you may have to elaborate for many of us on here - and I'm no youngster!

Likewise but third result on Google was this: 🤷🏼‍♂️

Argosy crash

And also this. Looks like someone ran out of talent and took 10 people with him...

Argosy

I seem to recall somebody bounced off the roof of a car driving on a road in the Oman - I think the 'somebody' was sitting in a Jaguar or Hunter at the time!

I also have somewhere a photo of a Phantom between the hangars at St Athan - IIRC it was being flown by a sqn cdr on his final sortie in the RAF - we must also not forget the graduation parade at Cranwell!!!!!!

Well, yessss, ... but I've seen Shackletons doing the same thing, and they have RR engines too. Same, same, but not so quick.

Apologies for delay replying to queries, but have had an unplanned w/e courtesy of the NHS - StopStart apppears to have it. Unfortunately, just one of many ... too many!

I was on that det to El Adem in April 68. 133 apparently struck a metal post on the ridge prior to impacting the ground but that in itself would have put them too low to recover the situation.
