Notice of General Rights (NGR)
Asking for a friend...
I looked for info before the break, but couldn't find anything on it. I understand that an NGR is a gentleman's agreement that affords both sides 18 months notice, potentially more but not less, for a Service person to leave. Could someone let me know if there's an AP or QR for this approach please? It may be in relation to the McCloud judgement and a return to 75 T&Cs, if that would influence what AP or document. I know you lose your RRP, if you are not on PAS. Happy to do this by PM, but there was more than enough interest at the flying Unit I'm at, so I guess there are people looking at amended plans everywhere now. |
The submariners are doing this - no loss of RRP, but you'll do a job of the Career Manager's choice. I presume it's in the JSP regarding TACOS. |

What are you going to Employment Tribunal about? They are for unlawful employment decisions. Sending you to an assignment that is not to your preference is not unlawful - it might be distasteful or frustrating, but I doubt very much you'll prove it is unlawful... https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunals |
