RAF Student JP Training at Linton
 

The training of students on the Jet Provost was revived at No.1 FTS, Linton-on-Ouse in January 1968. No.1 (RAF) Course graduated with 14 students from No.1 FTS on 28 October 1968. A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know these guys -Pt Off Casey,, Flg Off Nicholson,, Fg Off Revell, Pt Off Gartside, Pt Off Wallis, Fg Off Shrubsole (?), Fg Off Gunton, Fg Off Gould, Fg Off Graham, Fg Off Clarke, Fg Off Lloyd Morrison, Fg Off Duthie (?), Fg Off Tomkins or Fg Off Collins?

I believe that "Fg Off Revell" was Flt Lt Gordon Revell, a member of the 3 FTS display team "Gemini Pair" in 1970 and unfortunately killed in a Harrier accident in the Netherlands on 23 January 1974

went through the basic course at Leeming in 1970-71. Gord Revell and Simon Lloyd-Morrison were both QFIs there at that time. In fact, Simon was my instructor.

Simon Lloyd Morrison was on the same ETPS Course as me in 1986.
