Somewhere over California at a guess, the F-22 is from the 411th FTS out of Edwards AFB...

NNW of Edwards

0:02 - over Kelso Valley Airport, looking southwest towards Twin Oaks and Loraine

0:21 - north of Ricardo, looking south-southeast, with the Honda Proving Ground in the distance.

0:38 - southwest of Lake Isabella, looking northeast.

Did I hear that right, a 9.8 top up just on internals - max internal load is 20,650 for the F-22 per AF safety docs and I am inevitably reminded that the Lightning F6 had somewhere in the region of 7,160, I don’t have the numbers for the F1 but 6,000 can’t be that far off. Relative fuel loads and specific consumption comparisons between the early jets and today’s aircraft have always fascinated me, especially aircraft of a similar role and basic configuration. Forgive the drift.

The F-15E could carry 35,000lbs of fuel with 3 bags on and had an MTOW of 81k. From what I remember the F6 MTOW was about 45,000lbs. I guess the world moves on😀
