Look at the "OYA", how the O and the A snuggle to the Y. It's called ligature. You will not be able to do this with a ttf. The compressed style font makes it worse on a computer/type writer.

If he downloads the fonts i linked him too he should be able to type out the decals, I used to skin for games and was quite successful at it, like about 35k downloads |
