I just wondered if anyone might know the current location or airworthiness of jet provost XM466 originally from 1FTS Linton on Ouse ?

I have found a photograph of a family member flying the aircraft many moons ago and it would be nice to trace the aircraft if possible. I understand it was bought by private owners and based at Santa Rosa California at least until 2015. From then I cannot seem to find out much information to to whether the aircraft is still airborne?

it would be nice to find out further information on the aircraft/picture in 2019 and report back to the family.

It it would be great to know if the current owner still flys it. Maybe with all the vintage stuff it’s still there somewhere.

I find it extraordinary luck that this aircraft XM466 has remained flying, still airworthy today and also in the original colour scheme.

My uncle who flew it recently passed away so it is nice to inform the family that this aircraft still lives on.
I am sure that I will find myself in that part of the world at some point so I will make a point of stopping by and taking a look at the aircraft in all its glory. (If allowed)

Nutloose I can confirm on the picture I have, Be it black and white the first aid kit markings exist in the same place. It also appears to be in the same shade as the bulk of the red part of the aircraft suggesting it hasn’t changed to green.

Could it be due to its role at the time as a training aircraft it remained unchanged? Maybe it only applied to those air frames in a combat role (I am only wild guessing here)
