Flight Lt Elwyn Bell

Flight Lt Elwyn BellI am looking to contact anyone who may have known/trained with/served with Flight Lt Elwyn Bell, who sadly perished in 1971. His wife and sons are retracing his footsteps and I would be so grateful to hear from anyone who knew him.
He trained on No174 course, 6 FTS at RAF Acklington, graduating in 1965; was then part of 110 Squadron; then a training instructor at 1 FTS Linton-on-Ouse.

I was on 174 with him and have some photographs that could be of interest?

Hi...that would be brilliant.
I have sent you a message directly. Perhaps we could chat off-forum?
Many thanks
Nadia

My name is Mike Butt and I was Elwyn's flight commander at both Acklington and on 110 Sqn in the late sixties. Strange but that was the way it worked out. In fact the Bell family met us at our arrival in Singapore, having been there before us on the squadron in 1968. I did not return to UK until the disbandment in 1971.

Hi. I was an instructor on the same squadron as Elwyn at Linton-on-Ouse. I would be happy to help - send me a PM.
Regards TP
