Vulcan B1 at Entebbe, late fifties I think.

CAEBr,
Did you take all these pictures Steve? They are absolutely stunning, much better than I ever managed with Kodachrome 64 in my OM1 about 30 years ago. Walbut |
Gareth,
Yes, the Buccaneer and Hunter were at a recent photoshoot at Bruntingthorpe, the Vulcan, Gnat and Meteor at the Church Fenton airshow the other year. I'll look out a few more RAF aircraft shots from my digital files but searching through all my old slides is more something for the winter nights! Steve |

OPF,
It looks like Photobucket want wads of cash off you before they let you show your photos. I kicked them into touch nearly a year ago when they changed their Ts & Cs at short notice. |

I am new to FLICKR so trying to work my way around how it works. I cannot seem to get a single image to display so have given up for now.:ugh: |
Not a problem, the lanc is showing now
On flickr under your image on the right side of the page select the curved arrow between the star and the downward pointing arrow. Select BB code, in the box that comes up select the bottom window and select a size you want, then right click and copy the blue code above that window. On here if you paste it into the reply box it will link as your Lanc is to the page on flickr, but if you select go advanced tab below the quick reply box and post the image in there and untick the three miscellaneous options boxes it will post the image like mine has. For some reason the site now has them on as default.. |

When XW209, the first Puma with those intakes, arrived on exercise in Norway we could not put any troops in the rear four seats. Boscombe were unsure about the effect of the intakes on the aircraft's stability so they wanted the CofG kept forward.

I cannot help but opine that several of the posters on this thread would have done rather better than so called professional PR people on the RAF 100 project

F E D - I was at Boscombe when the TPs came back from the first trial flight of those Puma intakes. Loud and wondrous were the remarks about yaw inputs!!

Busy time working round the clock with some great guys. Good looking scheme wasn't it. The Falklands weather was being kind that day and it made for some lovely colours on film. Camera was a manual Praktica MTL3 with the f2.8 CZ lens. You can tell it's got above zero- The hookers taken his coat off... |
There is a Sea King at East Mids now. just arrived at the Aeropark and it's not yellow, haven't had a look-see yet.
