HC-6's hangar was right across the ramp from ours, back in the early 1980's. I saw their VIP birds every day when I went in to work, which would include this one. Lovely birds, though by that point IIRC they were used for people like CINCLANTFLEET, SECNAV, or CNO. (Memory foggy). Chopper, thanks for the link to the Naval Aviation News article. Good stuff.
