Ted Potts

Ted Potts joined the Royal Navy as an aircraft Artificer apprentice today in 1947. Now aged 84 he has been employed full time in aviation for 70 years, and has been instructing for 58 years. Ted has trained at least fourteen thousand students in this time. This is hard record to beat.

Ok.
Well done sir.

But without being rude, what is the point of this post?

brakedwell 14th Sep 2017 14:59

Apart from that, what else did Ted Potts do?

N.HEALD 15th Sep 2017 12:16

I'd seriously question the 14,000 students figure as to what that actually means, how many hours with each student? is that full ab-initio 0 hours to PPL or he's flown with 14,000 people that didn't have a licence.

Mr Heald.....

.....consider the possibility that he isn't a pilot instructor. That maybe he's a techie instructor?
