IAF attack barrel bomb factory in Syria
Yossi and Sufa flying friends have allegedly just whacked an Assad barrel bomb factory.
Mazel tov. Russian air defences no impediment apparently. I would love to know how they manage to spoof those - clearly some very clever electronic warfare tech used. With help from Uncle Sam perhaps - as per Operation Orchard... |
Well, God DID set a bit of an example of serious smiting.
Love the editor's comments, e.g. 1 Samuel 6:19 (You would have thought the 50,070th Israelite would have more sense than to climb a mountain of 50,069 bodies and look into a box) |

Love the editor's comments, e.g. And I've never been able to fully trust anyone named Judith ;) As to barrel bombs and factories manufacturing thereof: how does one know one isn't bombing a brewery? |
And just how many breweries are there in Syria? Possibly slightly more than there are flourishing pig farms.

Interestingly, if Wiki is to be believed (yes, I know!) the first use of barrel bombs was by the Israelis in 1948 in support of Op Drekel. And apparently the US dropped them to start forest fires in Vietnam. I guess that much like warfare in this day and age, it's all about the context rather than specific fact. Something the politicians and tree-huggers often fail to consider when taking their often illiberal liberal stances. |
