BN, shirley the £122 pw only holds good if you stop making any more contributions between now and and retirement- the forecast seems to suggest your pension age to be in 2025. No?

Affirm - I am happily retired, not earning over the NI threshold and choosing not to pay at the moment. What I would like to know is what I would get back for how much contribution.

The irony of the whole situation is that if you earn more than the LEL (just under 6k if memory serves) but less than the level at which you start handing money over (just over 8k?) you get a full year's credit, but years as a PA level 30 before the change in 2015 where you had over a fortune in NI don't count as full! Couldn't make it up really. |
