Four ship Lynx formation over Bristol this morning accompanied by a Merlin. Looked like the Merlin was photo ship and positioned to get a good shot of them passing over Brunel's masterpiece.
I assume they were lynxes and not wildcats. Anybody have any details please? |
Similar formation of 5 just passed over Lightwater, Surrey.
Appear to be enroute towards Odiham? |

Just saw a four-ship down the M3. No 4 looked a little out, but then so did 2 and 3... Helicopter formation 😂
Sad sign when a 4 ship is instantly assumed to be a farewell flypast! |
Boscombe's duty Russian spy had plenty of company at Spotter's corner.
|
And they were only 30 minutes late too! (At Sandbanks)

Mk 9 Alphas not the old 'soup dragons'.
They are all gradually being recycled since you need a Lynx 'donor' to produce a Wildcat even though no-one in management likes the Wildcat being referred to as 'another Lynx'. If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck.............:) |
I thought that all Wildcats had been delivered and the production line closed down!
