Mk25A LSJ

Can anyone tell me the cylinder size needed for the Mk25 LSJ, I know its 1/2 thread and think its 45 grams but not 100% sure, the weight has been rubbed off my bottle.

Search the forum for 'oldsquipper', and PM him. He'll know, I reckon.

Oldmansquipper

It probably is 45g but I've been out too long to give a definitive answer.

Correct, 45g. Mk.25A is the large size for those who had a very Merry Christmas :)

Out of interest, what is a Mk25A LSJ?

Thanks

It's a modified Mk25.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

It's an aircrew Life Saving Jacket, known to the rest of the world as a Life Vest.

Yep, 45g - used to be 34g but as aircrew got more `portly` the buoyancy had to be uprated. H&S issue IIRC....
