Very interesting

Mr Anderson has also been interviewed by the Omega Tau podcast about his time on RAF Phantoms. It's and excellent way to spend two hours and twenty minutes.

IIRC, Nick had a very nasty accident with a barbie shortly after arriving in Oz. Good to see he got over it!

That was a great interview and a great insight into flying the F-4.

Nick is a rare animal, having been both an A1 Hawk QFI and an AD QWI, as well as a top bloke.

Quite clearly gifted with being a natural fighter pilot.

The man in picture in Key West is Nick Randerson, not Nick Anderson. Nick Randerson (Spoons) was an F4/F14/F3 QWI navigator - like the other Nick, also an exceptional aviator and top block

Ex 261 (GUILDFORD) Sqn, ATC; remember him well!

Let's not forget Nutty, buried in the centrefold (he'd probably like that!). A true northern gent on my F4 course.
