It sounds like it should be on one of those ghastly satellite channels or even worse ITV.

Unfortunately this looks as though it is going to be yet another Red Arrows fly on the wall documentary rather than looking at front line aircrew. Pity

Since serving our time then leaving, some of us must be Britain's "extra-ultimate" pilots: Outside the RAF.

The way things are going it will be "Britain's Penultimate Pilots"!

Although a nice idea I'm wondering, what about the 'ultimate pilots' of the Fleet Air Arm and Army Air Corps?

lmgaylard, I can only guess that the clue to the answer to that is in the programme's title.

Okay I'll take my sarcastic hat off as it looks as though they will cover more than the Reds playing Golf and the inevitable tension as they see if they get Display Authority.

Okay, maybe I just slipped the hat back a bit. :)

But it does read as though they are giving other display types and ground crew a look in as well so I'll be checking it out.

And yes, even if it was just the Red Arrows I would still have watched the bloody thing.
