Those two US servicemen must have relished the opportunity to punch that terrorist into a state of unconsciousness.:ok: Lots of long overdue pay back there..:D
I wonder how many of us would be sufficiently switched on to take instant action as these guys did? I'd like to think the majority of us - but I'm not so sure.
How long will it be before before the ticketing and boarding process for high speed trains mimics that for aviation?

The thread on Jet Blast has some reference to a fellow who lives in France also involved, who ended up taking a bullet for doing that good thing. Nice job sir.

And a few other folk. Various European news media report that that the first person to attempt to neutralise the gunman was a french banker who requested anonymity, and who will be awarded the Légion d'honneur in a private ceremony.
