...the Tucanos that the RAF did worked better...

...the 19 Sqn Hawk was slightly better than the CF-18, but it still didn't look quite right compared to Tucano in my opinion.

Almost as good as the original paint scheme we had on our jets at 63 Sqn, RAF Heaven-in-Devon:


Looking a bit shabbier a few years after I flew them (when they were brand spanking new) - by then they'd had the fin rear fillet mod.
