Yellow Sea King up and about Christmas Morn

Well that was nice. Out walking the dog this glorious morning in my corner of Herefordshire over trundles a quite low and slow Sea King. Headed towards Valley by my estimate.

Can't help but be curious as to what caused that to happen?

God bless you for being up there for everyone today.

ps this has to be the BEST day to be up in the air for fun for quite a while, rarely would you have such a beautiful blue empty sky to yourself. If I could have an hour ripping around in a Spitfire this morning I would swap a lottery win I reckon.

It wasn't very long ago that we used to go up to the flying club on Christmas morning and launch a gaggle towards Stansted tower to give the controllers something to look at. Then they got all "we're too busy and for that sort of thing"........

Merry Christmas all.

No rest for the wicked. The guys were on their way back from Englandshire after a long night job with a very poorly newly born baby. Let's hope their efforts and time away from loved ones resulted in a family that will get many more Christmas' together.
