Surely it is a miss that's a near hit. |
I guess near miss is not quite as disconcerting as being told that the airliner you were flying on had a near hit with another airliner.:ooh:

That is not the bit of the rocket that is supposed to go bang. The payload may have been delivered as advertised and went bang, or is a payload type that is designed to wait around before going bang.
The bit shown has to land somewhere. |
