He died near Sale on 18 March 1944, when his bicycle collided with a bus. :( You couldn't invent it. |

Strange and sad that both pilots eventually died in collisions. One in a Hudson when he collided with a tree, and the other on a bicycle when he collided with a bus. It seemed that fate would have its way.

I read it to say the Nav died in the Hudson crash.
