Jaguar Boys

A reasonably new book by Ian Hall published by Grub Street in the same series as Lightning Boys, Victor boys etc..

An excellent read, would recommend it and what a great time to have been in the RAF.

Just ordered it. Son was a Jag mate.

Thanks for the heads up gentlemen,

And thanks to a small win on ERNIE, Mrs Smujsmith has just placed an order for Jaguar Boys, Vulcan Boys and Hunter Boys from that big river place. I look forward to some good reading, they will join Lightning Boys 1 & 2, Victor Boys and Buccaneer Boys. Now, who is writing Albert Boys ?

Smudge:ok:

What about one for the Hastings Boys then, a real aircraft in my book.:D:D

Fortissimo 10th Aug 2014 10:06

And Sonar Boys?

sharpend 10th Aug 2014 10:17

Now having read the book, and with 10 years experience flying the Big Cat, I concur with the words that Andy Griffin ends with:

'Bruggen was a place none of us will ever forget'.

From my experience that of course applies to RAF Coltishall. Halcyon days indeed and sadly I suspect we will never see the like again.

"Bruggen was a place none of us will ever forget"

You can say that again! Hours spent in QRA and days spent on Exercise! What fun!:ugh::ugh::ugh:

Perhaps now is the time to start gathering tales for 'Voyager Boys'...

Jaguar Boys

Not quite finished it, but it is an excellent read and brings back all the memories. Well done to the author and contributors.

Perhaps now is the time to start gathering tales for 'Voyager Boys'...

Wonder if they're still collecting flight deck photos.....:E
