There were times when I was self-employed when I'd have been glad of a minimum wage (and paid leave, paid sick leave, employer's pension contributions etc), but my choice, so I didn't complain.
My son has recently retired as a sergeant in the REME - certainly didn't seem to do too badly - was earning more than his sister who has an MA from a top English university! I dont think you do too badly these days - the grass isn't always greener outside |
