WWII Eiffel Tower Pilot
William "Bill" Overstreet Jr., a WWII P-51 Mustang Fighter Pilot, who flew under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, has died. His Aircraft was named "Berlin Express".
Yet another amazing fellow from those times has left us. Hand Salute! http://www.oldgloryprints.com/Berlin...s_in_Paris.jpg |

Another French WWI once flew through the Arc de Triomphe in a Nieuport 11 which was considerably more difficult:
Charles Godefroy - Wikipédia More recently, somebody also did it in a CAP-10: Archives - lesoir.be |
Not so sure about the Me 262 story.

Actually it is quite hard in Microsoft Combat WW2 Flight Sim - took me quite a few attempts before I managed it in a Typhoon (WW2 version)..

Was also done in a Mosquito, late 1944. R. Fullerton 409 squadron. He was my first Squadron Commander after I finished training in the RCAF, (a long time ago ).
