Chinooks 20 ft above my house - West Sussex
Hi,
Long time since I've been on here. I've just moved to Coolham on the A272 in West Sussex, 200m E of the crossroads. Great news - I think we're on the flight path from Odiham to Kent LFA which means we have Wokka Wokkas almost daily at (seemingly) 2 feet above the chimneys. Bloody great. There's a field out back. It's mine and it's empty at the moment. Feel free to land in it if you're able and the coffees / ales /mulled wine are on me :-) I'm pretty sure that you're not able to do this of course but thank you for the show gents and feel free to buzz anytime! |
2 feet above the chimneys. |
It *sounds* like 2 ft. of course :-)
Such an incredible sound they make |
They're obviously using old maps; Coolham was an Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) in the runup to D-Day in 1944.
If you're serious about offering them the use of your field, check your PMs. |

I can certainly take some - they're here every day at the moment
I'd give the Merkel Frau one I should think. It's a power thing I reckon. Plus she's an ossie so probably half price on Freitag |
