The Big Lift
Apologies if this has already been posted but I'm surprised that this event has not had more publicity to date.
Former Chinook crewman Ben Greer is part way through a challenge to walk a mile for every serviceman killed in Afghanistan carrying the weight of a serviceman with kit; that amounts to 440 miles carrying a 100kg pack. Regrettably events in Afghanistan , and Woolwich, mean that Ben will now walk an extra 4 miles. The website will soon reflect an extra leg at Brize Norton on 16 July. The challenge is as much about raising awareness as raising cash and I would urge you to support forthcoming events in any way you can as the challenge reaches its climax. details can be found at The Big Lift IF |
What an outstanding aim. Will gladly support. :D:D:D:D
