Query - Hawk T1s & Mode S kit
 

Hi all,

A quick question if i may for any current Hawk guys - a thing thats mulling about is whether the T1s are / will be / wont be fitted with Mode S.

I believe that the new T2s are fitted as standard, but given the remaining (?) life of the T1s is a fleet mod financially worthwhile given that Mode S is, i believe. predominently a civ ATC affectation for better SSR / TCAS etc and whilst they have in the past flown airways would they do it often enough to justify the cost on other than a few jets?
