Mil flying on a sunday?

This is not a mickey take?
About tea time today a very low level C-130 went right over chez jimgriff- not a normal occurance on a Sunday and not aware of any displays anywhere. How often do RAF fly ops in an LFA(T) on weekends?
It was good to see and hear you guys and gals.....

Mil flying on a sunday?

Didn't think you could book into the LFAs on a weekend?

C-130s on a weekend?

Just another working day.

You can book in with good reason via CAS LF. Never had a problem getting clearance if it's a sensible request.....or a TA exercise.

Whopity 5th Aug 2012 21:46

As I recall it Low Level with the TA always occurred at weekends.

Hmmm unlikely to be TA as they on Operation BailoutG4S...........unless some lucky buggers got away from it.
