Questions for C-130 Aircrew
If anyone who's ever flown the C-130 (any variant), or worked with it extensively would be able to answer a couple of this students questions, you'd be a massive help.
Cheers guys. |
T'was a while ago but...
400. But lots of raf B-S on the ground twixt flights. Once got a ballocking for not putting face time in during the year when I'd done 600H I earn £67K now. That'd do. ~£10K. But that was when £fuel > £servicing Intense, and generally at the end of a sharp tongue & 'nav rule'. Lots of sims, 24 hours over 12 trips into unfamiliar airfields, at least a route across each of europe, The Pond (and beyond), and africa. |
what kind of training programme would you implement? |

You forgot - after a short while you'll never again need to buy an expensive stereo.

OK, not C130 but props. I have stereo, individual volume for each ear too. Provided by NHS. OK, maybe expensive but cheap stereo |
400 hours a year very optimistic these days. You'll be lucky to get 250, and the vast majority of that in the sand.

I don't doubt it. It was too many moons ago when I lived & worked at Lyneham.
|
I would love to be there for the final flight of the 130K. Anyone know when it is planned? Any special events planned?
