I thoroughly agree!

For a light hearted break from the serious stuff, try the side splitting Pvt. McAuslan stories by George MacDonald Fraser.

B-52 Read

So can anyone recommend anything else, in particular is there anything from a B52 'buff' perspective, but interested in most things. Comments also welcome on my bought list and those still to buy.

I found "Jet Age Man" by Lt. Col.(Rtd) Earl J. McGill (ISBN 978-1-907677-46-5) an enjoyable and informative read. It's the experiences of a SAC pilot flying B-47s and B-52s during the 1950s Cold War era.

Fighter Combat: Tactics and Manoeuvring
If you are an "Anorak" then this is for you, BUT it isn't a book for light reading, or for relaxation.
(I love it :\)
