Bate your breath no longer Pontius!

BECAUSE, if this person is your declared partner, when someone says "who is this" you say "My Partner".
If however, this person is not declared, then you have to come up with another excuse like "just a friend" or "business partner".

I feel really bad about the fact that he might actually be doing a good job, his friends have funded Werrity's travel, the security services are ok with it, his wife is ok with it, and we (collectively) are about to get him fired because he did not choose to come out, which (unqualified to say) is probably a very personal decision - are his parents alive?, what is their religion? This could yet turn out to be a witch hunt, no influence peddling, no security risk, but it is probably too late - he is toast.

I think you are over-egging the pudding. I think it may as simple as some members of the press consider him to be a self-righteous little p**** and they are teaching him a lesson.
The British public is uncomfortable with allegedly homosexual politicians and so there is little sympathy. If you don't believe this read your recent press releases.
I would hasten to say that some of my best friends are gay/coloured/Jewish and any other unpopular flavours.

the security services are ok with it,
Security services don't say anything in public about Ministerial security and I see nothing likely to change.............

Liam never really explained the male friend who was 'staying' in his house in 2005 when it was burgled while his wife was stuck in HK.

Can anyone remember if DC was for or against fox hunting?

...feel really bad about the fact that he might actually be doing a good job, his friends have funded Werrity's travel, the security services are ok with it, his wife is ok with it, and we (collectively) are about to get him fired because he did not choose to come out, which (unqualified to say) is probably a very personal decision
Another very personal decision...to become an MP. Having become an MP they expect the citizens they serve to be honest, upright and lawful. We, the citizens, expect no less than that of them. If they cannot uphold the standards they expect of us, they can **** off in fine pitch.

Yer man wants to be portrayed as a conservative, god-fearing, family man (read his stance on abortion for instance). I don't give a toss where his sexual predilictions lie...I care very much about any politico who misrepresents who he is because the truth is inconvenient. If they can't hack the truth, the whole truth or nothing but the truth...take another personal decision and get out of public life.

History tells us politicians love to lie...about anything and everything. John Major preaching moral standards whilst banging Currie. Clinton...I did not have sex with that woman (but she did **** me off, whilst I chomped on a cigar). Repeat ad nauseam.

Don't feel bad about Mr Fox...sympathy is for victims. He is not one.

PS

And he is not doing a good job...to quote Alistair Campbell, he is woefuk.

The growing realisation of the close links Fox has with Israel via Atlantic Bridge and BICOM must add to the weight pressing for him to go and spend more time with (someone's) family.

The reported funding of Werrity by 'Isreali sources' and 'Private Intelligence Agencies' make bad reading.

A nice quote yesterday on t'internet:

"Things have come to a pretty pass when an older chap can't enjoy a perfectly innocent relationship with a younger man without Mossad interfering."

Another post says:

"Werritty's billionaire backers are Michael Hintze and Michael Lewis of the Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre."

airborne_artist 14th Oct 2011 08:07

Looking at the timeline, Werrity first came into Fox's orbit as a researcher of sorts (Fox paid an NI bill relating to his employment).

Now it's unlikely that the Zionists were already running/funding Werrity at that time, so what caused them to take an interest in him, and why did they feel Fox needed Werrity to "support" him?

BOAC 14th Oct 2011 08:36

AA- does that make Fox a 'pseudo' employer? What is that 'timeline? Remember the 'rent-free' accommodation Werrity had from Fox. (any public money involved?).

This is, like DC's employment of Coulson, all about 'judgement' and how far the abuse of power can be allowed or known to travel. Especially with a Defence Secretary. How many 'decisions' have been 'influenced'?

airborne_artist 14th Oct 2011 08:45

From The Telegraph, 10th October

"Adam Werritty, whose relationship with Dr Fox threatens the minister's career, was paid with taxpayers' money as a parliamentary researcher."

"The papers disclose that in 2005/06, Dr Fox's Commons office budgeted for a £690 National Insurance payment relating to Mr Werritty's employment."

BOAC 14th Oct 2011 08:57

Hmm! It is all getting very smelly. Using parliamentary expenses for a rent-free 'friend' and 'unofficial' employment of same.

Atlantic Bridge (known in the corridors as 'The Tory Travel Club') was closed down by the Charities Commission recently.

Define 'Fox Hole'.........................?

Those of us who knew the rigmaroles of "Positive Vetting" in the 80/90's are well aware of the ridiculous situation whereby an elected MP - irrespective of his communist leanings - can be appointed by the PM of the day into the Defence Secretary's job. Indeed, the current PM - just because he is elected - has his finger on the nuclear button without sufficient investigation on his political/mental state of affairs...

Here we have a Secretary of State for Defence who is being elusive about the truth of both his personal & "professional" relationship with a man 17 years younger.

If Fox is gay, having a sexual relationship with Weritty, & had admitted it from the outset, the only case to answer is his total lack of judgement (along with the many civil servants around him who would patently know what was going on).

The facts however now point to the conclusion that Fox, through attempting to hide the truth, laid himself open to Blackmail by foreign powers - noticeably Israel. That is absolutely inexcusable of a Defence Secretary. On the face of it, this is exactly what has happened. Would you trust a man who "weaved, ducked" & refused to answer serious questions?

I predict that after "reflecting on his position" over this weekend he will "honourably resign" on Monday - keeping his MP's seat, accrued Cabinet Minister's pension et al. That gives Cameron 2 days to decide on his replacement & the chance for the UK & US to update Israel with all known Intel on Iranian AD sites, for we all know that The US/Saudi's cannot directly attack Iran but Israel would direly like to.....:hmm:

Duncan D'Sorderlee 14th Oct 2011 17:28
