Prolly becusae nobody can be bothered to learn how to spell proparly.
Don't get me started on the roll of education in ensuring good spelling and grandma... |
Sorry GW...just tired and somewhat lazy of me....:O

The very fact that PVR times have increased and that you may be, allegedly, grounded after PVR, shows that manning are crapping themselves over the outflow. Just wait for the "Nobody left to fly RAF planes" news headlines to start and the government may have to answer some difficult questions. When there's nobody left to do the fighting - Cameron will indeed have to do the talking.
DJB - teechers eh? |
In what way is BALPA militant? From what I've seen (of our reps dealings with management) they are far from militant, unlike other unions within the company (starts with B ends with ASSA).
So have 25% of the Tri* skippers thrown in the towel, will check tomorrow. Yes, 12 months is a biggy; outside or 12 months, one is not current and needs base training, something most companies will be looking to avoid I imagine. Grass greener? Perhaps not, but at least the sand has a beach attached to it.... |
This, if true, sounds like all the more reason to adopt the "...fail the fitness test..." approach to leaving. |
9.10, up to 29 years old. 9.04 for 30-34.

No fitness tests in those days but had there been he would have been out in a trice, medical pension and a large disability pension to boot. Situps; used to do a hundred or so, now difficult to sit up in bed. |
For what its worth very similar goings on in the engineering world. Certain fast Jet Squadrons are bleeding fast with experience as the bubble has finally burst after many years of warnings. I think the final breaking straw has to be the expenses and the pension changes, just wait till Sept when its serious PVR time for those who failed to get redundency. Interesting few months ahead but rumour is all trades now getting PVR times upped to 12 months to follow in line with the flying staff.
