25 Flight AAC reunion.
25 Flight is sadly departing its Caribbean home and heading to sunny Middle Wallop. joys. To mark its return the Flight is thinking of hosting a reunion 'do'.
We plan to hold the event, at wallop, sometime in late SEPTEMBER 2011. It will be an all ranks affair and anyone with a connection to 25 is welcome (i.e. FBH/ REME etc) Planning is very much in its infancy so I have no further details. This is really a request for interest. If you are interested in meeting up with old friends, and meeting some new ones, please PM me so I can compile a list and see if there is the demand to hold the party. Many thanks, Red. |
Hi Red,
Yes I would be interested. I really enjoyed my time with 25 Flt 2003/4 - Pete Richie. Very sad the connection with Belize and the AAC has been lost. Many thanks |

I was there, 2005 - 2007 and am interested as long as there was plenty of coconut rum and "Belly Ache" on hand :ok:.
|
Me too also interested. Was there sometime in the past but drank far too much rum, charlie (the beer) and penis enlarger to remember the exact dates. Can't we have it in Belize, all expenses paid (by AAC)? I'd even be happy to fly in a VC10, facing backwards and leaning forwards all the way with a Harrier escort to see us in (yes, I know). I'd like to go and see if that Belikan plant really does grow wild in the jungle.

Count me in... was there in '94 I think.... loved it!

Drank more tea than any other unit in the british army , as I recall :E

Kingstonboy, check PM's.
I had a whale of a time in APC 1987. Loved the job, the crew and the social life. Almost turned a Gazelle upside down doing IMC night circuits. (Thanks DM, you saved my life!) Entry in DM's log book under "Duty" - Unusual Attitudes. Thanks mate!! Although I'm struggling with my health I would be up for any 25 Flt reunion. Keep us posted. |

Because it was a bl##dy silly idea by the tiffy to up the px to improve the effects, results. However as anyone who carried them out will attest you could "feel" the poor donkey struggling to remain ahead of the zok27 at upwards of 10 bar?as opposed to the original 4 (corrections accepted it was a long time ago)still the billowing clouds made for a memorable photo op in the instance mentioned.
Definitely up for reunion |
I was there, 2005 - 2007 and am interested as long as there was plenty of coconut rum and "Belly Ache" on hand .
We are bringing back plentiful supplies of Belikin, Lighthouse and Coconut Rum....pantyrippers anyone? |
