glad rag 10th Feb 2011 12:25

Sad to see I always think of the effort just to ler her fly in the past.:\

Jimmy Macintosh 10th Feb 2011 13:22

Unbelievable, you can't park anywhere nowadays.

I was gone 10 minutes and the thugs took the wings, canopy, aft fuse, wheels and anything else of value. Bugger, should have gone fully comp.

sled dog 10th Feb 2011 13:25

Was it parked in Liverpool.........

dctyke 10th Feb 2011 13:56

I just cannot believe it...... is that really an empty skip?

Tashengurt 10th Feb 2011 14:01

That would really p*ss Victor Meldrew off!

SASless 10th Feb 2011 14:16

Budget cuts have had a noticeable impact upon Readiness!

goofer3 10th Feb 2011 14:46

Kreuger flap 10th Feb 2011 15:36

Tornado involves the physical and conceptual transformation of a decommissioned RAF Tornado airplane into a large single bell. Situated in a busy public space to coincide with the Cultural Olympiad’s Open Weekend of 24-25 July and placed at a human level, the bell may be rung by anyone who encounters it.
What a load of arty farty bollocks. Anybody know what they are on about? I like this bit from the second report........

“First of all, I’m astonished by the sound,” said the London-based artist
Well what did you think it would sound like? A bell perhaps? Thank god university fees are going up to £9000. It might stop idiots like this from doing Arts degrees.

PFMG 10th Feb 2011 17:19

A f^*ckin Bell!

Bell-end more like.

thunderbird7 10th Feb 2011 18:35

Bet that made the binman's eyes water when he found it outside the staish's house in the recycling :8

The Helpful Stacker 10th Feb 2011 19:15

Is it true that the rusty brown and blue coloured objects in the background had a faster rate of climb and could sustain a higher altitude?

I know, I know, I'll go back to stock checking the bedding store....

Buster Hyman 10th Feb 2011 20:31

I assume the Pilot ejected safely...is he in another skip perhaps?

monkeymanagement 11th Feb 2011 00:09

This is photoshopped of course; there is no way the guy in the day-glo shirt (the recycling technician) would allow you to pull up in a company Corsa, drag that out of the back and dump it into one skip. Come on, there's balsa wood, airfix plastic, wiggly amp thingamies and, probably, some peat left over that fired the engines - all of which go in different skips!

Walrus75 11th Feb 2011 01:52

It's a spoof, there's no Tesco trolley in there with it.

NutLoose 11th Feb 2011 02:41

Why would you need a shopping trolley, I thought we had two seaters so you had an extra bod in the back to carry everything for you? ;)

L J R 11th Feb 2011 05:30

I was wondering where I left it on that Overseas Training Flight to Amsterdam.

Dengue_Dude 11th Feb 2011 18:37

I was unaware Skoda made aircraft . . .
