Thats because the Royal Navy website has been hacked into and is no longer active.

Should have used one of those fancy close defence systems those ships of yours have... Oh, that's right... You don't have any ships... :E

Ivan Rogov 15th Nov 2010 23:38

Closer to 50 ships by my counting, unless you are including boats and Victory?;)

vecvechookattack 16th Nov 2010 06:52

There are 83 active vessels in the RN today..... Shortly to lose 5 (1 CVS and 4 T22).

If you include HMS Bristol, HMS Victory and HMS Caroline (All still active although not sea worthy) then that would come to a total of 86 going down to 81. That list doesn't include 131 landing craft.

That list doesn't include 22 RFA vessels (Owned and operated by the MOD as a maritime component)

...someone mention H.M.S.Caroline??? G'3's Grandfather on the left, back row, aboard Caroline. At Jutland etc. Note the roller skates, front row.http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1289895999

Trim Stab 16th Nov 2010 08:07

I guess the reason that you are here today, G3, is that your grandad is the only one keeping his hands to himself...

Motleycallsign 16th Nov 2010 13:27

Come on chaps, he who casts stones etc might ground a boat!!!!!

Wander00 16th Nov 2010 17:21

For a former Crab, what sort of ship is HMS Caroline? I take it nothing to do with pirate radio!
