Is this why the Nav calculates "Drift"?

That headline should read " Proof that god is a skater, pops a manual roll with a vulcan"
For his next trick - a 360 kickflip pop shovit. Ok, have to take less drugs tomorrow. Weeeeeeeee |
"V1...Rotate" :}

May I suggest that they leave it displayed with the nose raised, maybe not quite as high as that though. It means that the public can see more of it and one can, at least, imagine the noise it would be making at that point.

Acually that angle is pretty close to aerodynamic breaking. There is a small sensor under the tail about 6 inches long. That could touch with the tail almost on the ground!

That's an old trick by the snow.
This is Vulcan B1 XA900 at RAFM Cosford around 1979, when snow lifted the aircraft and its two 25ltr sized concrete blocks in the air. With a brush and a thaw, she came down fairly gracefully. Sadly, after being left out in the open for too long, and with the arrival of B2 XM598, XA900 was unceremoniously towed round the back and scrapped. |
