Free te Aldergrove Two

Let's stop this injustice before it reaches the Honourable House. Another undermining debacle in the offing.....Release the Aldergrove Two Before it goes too far.

Green Bottle 26th Mar 2002 10:03

Do Tell.

Big Green Arrow 26th Mar 2002 15:50

What's all this about? Do tell.

u_build_em_I_roll_em 26th Mar 2002 17:02

Ability is nothing IMAGE is everything !!!!! Give em hell lads

FJJP 26th Mar 2002 22:54

Vulture - is this a wind-up or genuine?

Dunhovrin 27th Mar 2002 00:23

If it's anything like previous CR bustings they'll be NCR until either:. .. .A) they are suitably chastened or. .. .B) there's not enough CR shags around and the Sqn need a rotor tune on a Sunday.. .. .I do hope it was for an OM arrival.

Big Green Arrow 27th Mar 2002 21:26

Come on then...spill the beans..back to the top for this gem

Climebear 27th Mar 2002 22:22

OK spill the beans for an ex Ald blunty and Hon-tiger who watched the infamous OM departure (still say it was good to see and the 2 Brigs enjoyed the spectacle).

yellow and black 28th Mar 2002 01:08

A mildly spwirited departure, we've all done them but-like comedy-the timing and audience are they key. . .. .Bad timing, even worse audience.. .. .They will go down in history - unlike their judge / executioner who will just go down.. .. .The king is dead, long live the king!

jiffni 28th Mar 2002 02:49

The departing harrier mate looked far more sporting this evening than the other incident so I suppose we will have to award him the same fate. Or B ...

Jointery Boy 29th Mar 2002 04:40

Having spoken to one of the "inmates" at bash on sat nite...in comedy timing is everything...oh well both their stocks risen in bar ftse!

MightyGem 29th Mar 2002 06:11

For those of use who weren't there, what happened?

Tiger_mate 29th Mar 2002 14:06

A helicopter found himself in a position where he was not wanted, so he took to the air and departed. On the way he retracted his wheels, Why? Well because he could, which is why the cab looks the K9s bits in flight, we all know that.. .. .Now you could embelish this tale of whow a little with such minor detail as height, speed, and audience, but dont forget to include Poacher turned Gamekeeper within.. .. .Oh it could get worse, they could be posted to 33........... mmmmmm!!!!. .. .Jordanian terrorist maintaining the standards . .. .Allah be with you, drink tea. . . .T_M

Ed Winchester 29th Mar 2002 21:45

Sounds like absolutely disgraceful behaviour to me.. .. .

Dunhovrin 2nd Apr 2002 10:10

When you say 'somewhere not wanted' do you mean Spot 13?

Spot 4 2nd Apr 2002 12:56

Well it wasnt Spot 4 `cause thats me!!

Mmmmnice 2nd Apr 2002 18:30

Don't forget that in this day and age the secret of good comedy is timing; and picking your audience! Screw up on either (or both) counts and you will be hauled over the coals - obviously another thing that gets left out of the pitifully short training system is when, where and how to w*z - ah for the good old days - mine's a creme de menthe frappe old fruit - pip pip

yellow and black 2nd Apr 2002 18:56

Dunhovrin.

We've gone all decimal since you started flying from the other side of the airfield, our spots are now letters not numbers. The spots the TWO flew past were CinC and AoC.

BigCatTamer 3rd Apr 2002 08:43

Don't know what you lot are all excited about - surely you're busy designing a new combination squadron badge depicting a flying moggie! Aren't the two in question soon to be released from clink soon anyway? BCT
