Flt Lt Alex Coomber -top effort!

Having just watched the most ridiculous sport known to mankind (banned 54 yrs ago I believe for being too dangerous), congrats must go to Alex for a Bronze medal. A superb effort in the maddest traditions of the service.

But I do wonder whether a WRAF backside gives an aerodynamic advantage by being area-ruled.... (think upside down coke bottle)

How can you be an Intelligence Officer and participate in quite such a dangerous sport - 80mph 2" above the ice!! Not for me, but great PR for the services as a whole.

Military Intelligence. Two words that have never sat well together. :) :)

Nevertheless, best of British to Alex. Really deserved a Gold just for competing.

And she wears a Bioflow to aid muscle and injury recovery. Fantastic!

Mmmm. Says something when the Brits seem to excel at the two strangest Winter sports - Tea Tray Sliding and Cheese Racing <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

Anyway, well done Alex - you nutter!!!!!!!!! Must be the Cider methinks!!

H 'n' H toddles off to do something safe - like Croc wrestling or similar. :)

If anyone doesn't know much about Skeleton, here is (IMHO) a great introductory website:
