New Year Honours list.

There used to be a statement:
A person can raise morale by entering a room,
conversely, a person can raise moral by leaving a room.

Express you views on this years recipients? (The Telegraph site clogged up with people looking to see who "Got one this year", some not realising that "You know" before any one else if you're getting one. Others out of idle curiosity?.....)

Maj Scott-Hopkins (MBE)

Lt Col Whiteside (MBE)

WO1 Curry (MBE)

absolutely no comment on any of them

Spelling I don't give a to$$ about (please don't tell me that you are one of those sad losers that prefers to red ink than actually look at the content? This is a leisure forum not Service paper remember....and I am certainly happy with my level of academic ability, even if you are not....however, offending people I do care about....so at your request post removed (i.e. keeping mouth shut and opinions to ones self)- with humble apologies, Sir. I am okay for honours thanks...all sorted a number of years ago my old china.

Are you guys (gals?) for real. I thought only kiss ar** types and lickers got awards. Here you are congratulating each other for WHAT?

Practically anyone who ever deserved anything got nothing.

Is there anyone who is not a blatent crawler going to post something?
