There really isn't any hope of convincing some people - so perhaps we should move on - Not a crash, heavy landing, pure coincidence - what's wrong with you guys, perhaps you don't want to face the obvious. Of course the over stretch is a contributing factor, as is all the extra workload preparing for mirror squadrons, but will never be admitted by the powers that be, sure they will find another excuse for it happening, but some of us feel different. Maybe not a story for the jurno, but something to ponder for the realists out here, not the brainwashed types a Strawbs. Or the love children of him who can't be mentioned any more on a rumour site. Come on guys smell the coffee for goodness sake, it's happening all around you, but you won't see it.

Would this happen if Shawbury was all still military?. I met a guy the other day bragging his cock off at Shawbury about me being a crow QHI. I remember him as a less than qualified op tour man when I was a stude!

So you have people been off the (cold war) front line making waves about terms and references!. Granted they are civil servants now; however.....what are we ultimatley trying to do!. It is so clear on the front line, less so at strawbs.

Mark my words..there will lots of young blood sick of Op tours itching to take the place of said individuals!

Roll on!

Sick of the dripping!

I've obviously missed something and I genuinely want to remedy this gap in my knowledge. Please explain how the overstretch and extra workload contributed to this incident.

bluster,
Given that 4 airframes have been comprehensively damaged at Ternhill (JGW RIP) prior to this latest ďncident", how do they fit into your “obvious” overstretch conspiracy theory, go on, educate us all..............
