Herc using Steyning as a turning point at 16.24 today

To the crew, lovely and low over my house, cheers and thanks brought a tear to the eye.

Scared the crap out of me but little 10 wants a go on one now!! Please come again, no complaints from me.

First time Ive seen one over this way that low, other than the airshow.

The first thing my son said to me after collecting him from football (he played at Chailey, Sussex) was...
"Dad, a Hercules came over when we were playing - did you see it?"
Sadly, in Uckfield I did not!

You made his day - thank you.

PS Uckfield makes a good waypoint (N 50°58.4' E 00°05.6' / TQ 4718 2158). You are welcome anytime!

Saw one just south of Petworth a few years ago and a few weeks ago another just south of Southwater. Definately a rare occurance but one I'd love to see more of:ok:
