There is an exercise on at Barksdale and the Tonkas were invited. Monarch chartered to move personnel as AT fleet too busy/too broken. Nothing unusual.

I see Jet2 have been running out of Brize this week, to Dubai I believe.

S'pose they have to make up for the lack of business this winter.

Hey Thanks,

Just a very strange flight and I wanted to clear things up.

But whats Tonkas?

Avoiding the obvious crack,

Tonka is a nickname for the Tornado.

Its for Exercise Green Flag East, believe 14 Sqn are taking part. Also believe the AAR part of the knackered AT fleet got them out there with no problems (apart from the 24 hour delay due to weather and Tonka issues)

Cheers

Knackered AT fixer
