An excellently written article that gets the point across....Brit troops etc are risking their lives and limbs daily. And it is mostly forgotten on the 'home front'

Very, very moving. And today i hear another Marine has gone...........Where are our Nato " allies " assisting in all this ? I am not in the UK, but still feel sorrow for the loss of another of " our " troops. RIP.

It is a sad truth that in todays society stories like this aren't given half the attention as some has been celebrity bounding around a television set. But then that wouldnt sell papers would it?!

My thoughts go to all those British service/ civilian personnel currently on ops wherever they be in the world.:D

Well written. It kept making me think of the TV series MASH, not the humorous bits but the surges of activity when the casualties arrived. The medical staff deserve as much credit for doing a very tough job as everyone else out there.

The chap in question was on Today (Nov 25), available on BBC Listen Again (interview starts around the 01:26:00 mark).

A well written piece:D, which I hope provoked some thought amongst the civilian population for the outstanding work being carried out in theatre, by all professions.
