Nice photos. Was it deliberate to have the trade stand marked 'Broad Area Maritime Surveillance' under an ex-MRR aircraft?
|
Was at the show last Wednesday. When she displayed the rush to get out of the trade stands was palpable!
Well done everyone involved :D |
How's this ?
|
Beautiful aircraft and well done for sharing the pictures.

Before I went I had no idea just how close to the runway the crowd are. The sound of it taking off from 60m away was awesome.

Great photos and close to a simliar photo taken in 1979!

1979 or 1969?
I was there in 1969 with the support team for PA474 and they displayed 903 with the underslung Olympus 500 test engine for Concorde then. By 1979 the Olympus test programme was long completed. |
1979 for sure, 903 has a RB199 underslung. Last flight of a MK1 Vulcan :{

That's becoming a classic Vulcan angle at Farnborough:

"That's becoming a classic Vulcan angle at Farnborough:"
Anything to do with the proximity to the ground? As in just landing/taking off? Classic as in SOP? Just a thought. jf |
