Will the F-22 be stationed with USAFE??

Any guesses that the Raptor will find its way over to this side of the Atlantic eventually and be with the 48th FW to replace the F-15C some day in the not so distant future? Or will they be stationed in Germany with the 52nd?

The F-22 will not be based outside the USA. The 4 operational bases are: Langley, Virginia; Elmendorf, Alaska; Hickam, Hawaii; Holloman, New Mexico.

The other operating bases are: Edwards, California (test); Nellis, Nevada (weapons/tactics); Tyndall, Florida (pilot training).

The units in Europe may be replaced with JSF units at some distant future date. More likely, in view of the possible threats, they'll just be shut down with the bases operating on a Care & Maintenance basis with regular training deployments.

The threat is no longer from Russia, no matter what they may think.
