Aviation Rules: How Well Do You Know Them?

Being a lowly AF Pilot :hmm::hmm:, and that too, with a strictly Fighters background, I managed a bare 5/10 in this quiz and could finally get 10/10 only after FOUR more attempts.

Pretty poor, I know, but, would you like to check out your knowledge?

Try at: THIS!!

Enjoy!

7 and i'm just a bored wannabe.

Occasional Aviator 15th May 2008 14:43

6/10 on first try, but I am Brit Mil so I don't feel bad about not knowing the US civil regs. The Weather Station Symbol sent shivers up my spine though... memories of student met brief at Shawbury (which appeared to be the only place in the known universe where QFF was briefed daily).

Tricorn 15th May 2008 15:14

6/10 - but I'm a techie.

The Helpful Stacker 15th May 2008 15:16

6/10.

Not bad I guess for someone who got as far as Air Experience Flights and throwing up in a Jag T2 during his flying 'career'.;)

barnstormer1968 15th May 2008 16:17

6/10

I got 6/10 as well, and funnily enough, I'm an ex cycle proficiency instructor. Maybe there is a common link here Flarkey!
Perhaps with my knowledge of two wheels, I could have been a harrier ace, and excelled with bicycle type undercarriage landings (now please be kind with any sarcasm that may head my way)

6/10, and I was up in a glider 3 times on one day about 45 years ago!

Lurking123 15th May 2008 16:49

7/10 but I'm British

Flash2001 15th May 2008 16:54

8/10 PPL unused for 25 yrs.

After an excellent landing you can use the airplane again!

stiknruda 15th May 2008 17:07

9/10

just a UK PPL who has flown in the States but might have been studying recently!

TAC Queen 15th May 2008 17:40

10 out of 10
but I was doing the OK magazine word search

N Joe 15th May 2008 17:42

An engineer gets 4 wrong and still scores 7/10 - I like that scoring system!

10/10 but guessed on numbers 8 & 9 as I don't pay that much attention to FAA requirements on those two.

S/F, FOG

helidriver 15th May 2008 22:24

8 out of 10, but I'm AAC and haven't flown for 2 1/2 years. I score one point per excuse and voila - 100%!:ok:

StuartP 16th May 2008 08:05

6/10. I was in the Air Cadets once (briefly). Knew three, the rest were lucky guesses.
